Onion

There seems to be two kinds of people in this world.  One likes onions and the other hates onions.  I fall into the first group, the lovers of onions, and my husband falls into the second group.  When I got married I thought it was great that my husband didn't like onions because I didn't like to chop them.  A marriage made in heaven, right?  Haha  As I began cooking for my husband I discovered that my meals tasted, well, kinda bland.   So to compensate for no onions I began to add extra garlic.  And although the food tastes great we don't always smell so great!!

Fireplace

Do you ever go through open houses on Sunday?  Sometime my husband and I do, just for fun.  

Here is a fireplace from a house we went into today.  The house is old and needs lots of work to make it a comfortable home.  It had some nice details.  Crown moldings in the livingroom, a nice entry way with built in curio shelves and a brick patio in the back.

Shoe Shopping

I took the boy shoe shopping today.  We were on the hunt for the perfect pair of 

basketball shoes at a cheap price.  

The boy was really upset that I took my camera.  So I took pictures when he

wasn't looking!

Fence Fix'in Day

Made a quick trip to the lumber yard to pick up some boards to repair 

 our fence.  We only needed to replace six boards.

A half an hour later and ten dollars poorer the fence was fixed.
